Superliminal

Superliminal is a first-person game in which you have to solve puzzles by making use of optical illusions. Superliminal gameplay is reminiscent of Portal, as at the beginning of the game you wake up somewhere you don't know and find yourself trapped in a dream. In this dream, you are a guinea pig in a series of tests, and your goal is to pass each one.

Superliminal gameplay

The basic mechanics of the game are as follows: while holding an object, if you raise the camera upwards, it will increase in size and, if you lower it, it will decrease in size. You can also make use of the distance at which you grip the object to make it increase or decrease in size more quickly. Through these mechanics, your objective is to solve the puzzles that you find along your way.

Use your wits to solve the puzzles

Like in Portal, solving puzzles involves moving cubes from one place to another through narrow places, keeping buttons activated to unlock doors, or climbing cubes of different sizes to reach previously inaccessible places.
